DESCRIPTION
Black pepper is the first flavor I remember
trying at my grandpa’s house. It was spicy,
pungent, and made me sneeze. I loved his jerky
because it was tender, salty, and smoky.
It reminded me of his stories and
the smell of jerky in the house.
But my grandpa passed away when I was young,
and I never got to learn his secret recipe.
I searched for years for something that could
match his jerky, but nothing came close.
Finally, I decided to try making my own jerky
with black pepper and other spices.
I experimented with different cuts of meat,
marinades, and cooking methods.
I discovered that jerky is not just a snack,
but a way of preserving memories and love.
and this is how Tibbs jerky was created.
